prototype
prototype The word prototype derives from the Greek πρωτότυπον prototypon, "primitive form", neutral of πρωτότυπος prototypos, "original, primitive", from πρῶτος protos, "first" and τύπος typos, "impression".[3]
The Latin word for Prototype is Exemplar, Exemplar is defined as: model, pattern, original, prototype, book to copy.
prototype to do
prototype to learn
prototype to uncover
prototype NOT to solve
The definition of prototype is "a first, typical or preliminary model of something, especially a machine, from which other forms are developed or copied." Well, what a definition! And it is one I have never used before in my practice of DEEP design thinking. A prototype is a physical thing that is created from an idea.
Treat everything as a prototype.... unless you want Holy Grails lying all around your feet. That is my motto.
