Reblog of 2 The i.Design Lab Posts #ak12dc #DEEPdt
The following are two Reblog posts via my other site, The i.Design Lab. The i.Design Lab is described as "This is a picture blog for The i.Design Lab (DEEPdt, Design Thinking, MAKERed, Tinkering, Visible Thinking, DIY, etc). I truly believe a picture is worth a thousand words!"
Here is a snippet of the work by Alex Bragg, Chip Houston, Katie Cain, and Myself via #ak12dc.
The two posts capture two major moments of Action, Doing, & Realization of the last two years of Mount Vernon's involvement in #ak12dc Atlanta K12 Design Challenge (a partnership between Atlanta area independent schools, Fulton County Schools, and the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford University (the "d.school").
The 1st post, Nurturing Learner Centered Environment (almost shipped) shows some before shots & prep to bring in "hi-res" solutions to create various learning experiences into a Modular Structure.
The 2nd post, Inspires a Culture of Natural Collaboration & Flexibility to Move shows the process of removing, installing, and initial testing by Users. The installation of "hi-Res" solutions is actually only halfway completed. Over the next 6-8 weeks, the MSAB building will undergo more change, adaptations, and continued culture shifts as the #ak12dc MV d.TEAMSs receives feedback, iterates, tests, and repeats the DEEPdt process. Please stay tuned to check-in with the progress and our continued efforts to meet the needs of our Users (Learners).
