Plotted & Shovel-Ready Design Thinking Challenges (a rough Gdoc Lesson Plan)

I thought I would try to frame this Plotted Design Thinking Challenge in the Discover & Empathize modes and then frame a full-on Shovel-ready Design Thinking challenge with all the MODES of DEEPdt (Discover. Empathize. Experiment. Produce) utilizing the below photo.

SO the setup:

I open my my cabinets, multiple times a day and wonder “There has to be another and better way.” In the 14 years I have lived in this galley kitchen my battle with plasticware has typically stayed firmly in the top 3 of my angst and frustrations. I have probably reconfigured it at least 10x and never have I felt satisfaction nor confident in my solution. So seeing the clutter yet again this AM and knowing it is not truly meeting my needs, I thought… this is a great example of a Plotted Design Thinking Challenge and even a Shovel-Ready DT Challenge as well…
